Nicholas Ifkovits began writing his first novel longhand when he was ten. At age eleven he started a neighborhood newspaper (The Deerpath News), cranking out funny smelling blue-text copies on a mimeograph machine. (Does anyone remember mimeograph machines?)
Born in Chicago, Illinois, a graduate of Northern Illinois University, he is the author of four novels; The contemporary fantasies “Cloud Drops,” and “Strange Change,” and two dramas inspired by real events, “Other Dreams,” and “Harmony’s Angel.”
His various novels and four screenplays don’t fall neatly into one genre, but cover a broad spectrum, from suspense to fantasy to action, adventure and romance. Currently at work on a new medievel fantasy, he has several other novels underway.
